When most of us have life-changing accidents, we rarely recover from them. Richard Van As, not only changed his own life, but the lives of other amputees. Richard takes us through how he created Robohand where he partly uses 3D printers. Robohands are mechanical hands that assist people with amputated hands and amniotic band syndrome. Robohand was also featured in Time Magazine as one of the most affordable ways to replace fingers. He says "start with what you have and iterate the process as you go".
